You can also expand the quartet performance with some sultry vocals from one of our singers or some jazzy horns from our talented ensemble. For that special “intimate touch,” another popular option with our clients is having one of our talented keyboardists as a solo pianist.

“The quartet played during dinner and my wife, a jazz pianist herself, was literally brought to tears as she listened. Awesome!”  – Steven Kincaid, Tampa, FL

Dallas String Quartet (DSQ) Electrics is an international ensemble based in Dallas playing contemporary music on electric string instruments. They have released three albums, Electric (2011), Red (2012), and Between Us (2014), and have a large following on Pandora, Sirius Xm and other radio stations. DSQ performs intimately as a quartet or with a full ensemble of drums, guitars, etc. for high-energy shows.

The quartet has been featured in the Wall Street Journal, and on A&E, CW33, and other networks. In addition to touring and performing internationally, DSQ has played “at home” for Presidents Obama and Bush, and the NBA and NFL organizations. They have opened for artists such as Air Supply and Kenny G, and have played alongside Josh Groban, Chicago and the Trans-Siberian Orchestra. Comprised of violinists Tatiana Glava and Melissa Priller, violist Ian Zanca and cellist Gaston Colloca, DSQ takes you on a journey to the nexus of classical music and modern pop where artists like Beethoven and Bono collide.

“DSQ ended their performance with a cover of Guns N’ Rose’s “Sweet Child of Mine” that just floored everyone in the building.” – Red Carpet Crash Review

  • You guys were not only great to work with and flexible all throughout the process but most importantly, you delivered exceptional quality music and flexibility on-site as well. I thoroughly enjoyed working with you all and can’t wait until the next opportunity. Thanks for bending over backwards to accommodate our corporate client’s ever changing show flow. You made what could have been substantial timing challenges into non-issues. The audience feedback I have received since is nothing short of fantastic. You truly hit all demographics ranging from the obvious male & female but from 20 year olds all the way to guests in their 60s.  Everybody loved you.

  • This band was absolutely phenomenal.  Sooooo talented! They made the wedding a huge success. In fact, everyone was bragging that this was probably the most fun wedding they had ever been too. The talent was incredible. Playing everything! Johnny Cash, Charlie Daniels, Footloose, you name it, they played it, even playing requested rare songs! They are so incredibly talented and fun. Worth every nickel that you pay for them and you can be assured that your event will be a huge success. Would love to hire them again for another event. Great personalities, too! Playing hard and long with huge smiles and making everyone dance, sing and have a fun-filled evening.

  • Y'all absolutely rock!!!!! We are so incredibly happy we discovered such an incredibly mind blowingly talented group of musicians and were able to have you all play at our wedding in Asheville. By far the best decision we made! We have spent every day since October 13th talking about how much fun you all made the entire evening for everyone. So many guests told us they felt like they were at a private concert (and so much of what you covered was better than the originals!). You all are not only crazy talented, but salt of the earth people who made the entire night so much fun for everyone there! Thank you so so so much! Especially for learning our first dance song and the Michael Scarn! That was so awesome! We plan to continue following you all and hope to get to hear you play again in the near future! Many thanks!!!

  • Everything was awesome! Band killed it and were so fun and interactive with the crowd....the crowd never left the dance floor!! Zack was great communicating with leading up and they were good sports about having to load their equipment up by tractor! Haha! All around they are great!
